Hi,
I’m Anastasia (AN NAH STAY SHAR) and I independently write the Edith
Ellen Blog - Launched in 2016 as a community for sharing and promoting
Good Care, Resources and Ideas, this site is a quickly growing
collective of “world changers” from all around the world.
In 2001, at 22years old I was diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), a condition which affects memory, thinking and judgement. Usually MCI is an intermediate stage between normal cognitive decline and the more serious diagnosis of Dementia.

I
am a full-time mummy to Blogger Babies, my twin 2year old boys, I like
to do typical mummy things – colouring, singing made up songs and
cooking wholesome dinners for my family. I
also like wine, maybe too much, but wine is my saviour at the weekends
when I hand the reins over to the Hubster (aka Daddy). And lets not
forget Bumpy (Grumpy Bumpy) who is not only my carer but my father and
the Blogger Babies Grandfather - so now you've met the family I hope you
enjoy my ramblings.
I hate the garden, I am scared of all things bug like and those that creep… but I do love cleaning and cooking.
Blogger
Babies and Mummy are campaigners and fundraisers, we believe in sharing
resources and ideas to enable the best possible care and support of our
elderly and vulnerable. Blogger
Babies spend most of their day wondering how to combine their two
loves: fruit and Iggle Piggle whilst Mummy spends her day dreaming of
wine and ice cream… and how to combine her love for James Corden with
her love for Coffee...
We
are currently living the Gluten Free life due to one blogger baby
needing a specialist diet, but what doesn’t kill us makes us healthier….
The
aim of this blog is to bring changes to the standard of care as it
currently is and ultimately prevent abuse, share ideas and develop a
network of people who can promote and celebrate good care.
All
donations made via the PayPal links go directly to charity, 100% of
every £1 donated is given to registered charity No. 1153733 The Edith
Ellen Foundation, a local charity supporting Kindness in Care.
